The Subaru Outback is a solid choice for an outdoorsman: with bold character, enhanced functionality, spacious interior, and stellar off-road performance for a wagon. Offering all-weather traction and much more interior space than previous models, the 2010 Subaru Outback offers an unparalleled versatility. New features include edgier sheet metal, a 2.8-inch increase in wheelbase to 107.9 inches, a 2.3-inch increase in the roof-line and significant gains in the cargo and cabin space. Perhaps the most profound enhancement is an increase to the cabin space of 8.0-9.8 cubic feet that comes with a higher-compact rear suspension. Clearly, there's a lot of space to be had, making the Subaru Outback a perfect choice for a rugged and durable ride.

The Outback comes in six trim levels: 2.5i, 2.5i Premium, 2.5i Limited, 3.6R, 3.6R Premium, and 3.6R Limited. Base 2.5i models come standard with a 2.5-liter horizontally opposed four-cylinder engine, producing 170 horsepower. Further features include 16-inch steel wheels, automatic headlights, full power accessories, tilt-and-telescoping steering column, height-adjustable driver seat and a four speaker stereo with CD and auxiliary audio jack. The Premium trim comes equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, and a leather-wrapped stearing wheel. Optional features include a nine-speaker steroo, six-CD changer and Bluetooth connectivity. All models come equipped with all-wheel drive. Mileage is at 22/29 mpg in the city/highway respectively.
